Scott D. Hayes, CPA, MBA joined Going, Sebastien, Fisher & LeBouef, LLP in January 2018. Carrying the CPA designation since 2011. He has been working in the accounting profession in the Lafayette area since 2006. Scott has worked in the non-profit, private, and public accounting sectors, serving in controllership roles in commercial construction, manufacturing, and food service distribution industries. He is known for providing strategic management consulting, financial and compliance reporting services, as well as general accounting and taxation related services. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Accounting. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Scott is currently serving as the President of the Louisiana Society of CPA’s Acadiana Chapter. He is a One Acadiana Ambassador and is also currently a member of various other professional and civic organizations including the American Institute of CPAs, The 705 Young Leaders for a better Acadiana, and the Mardi Gras Krewe of Bonaparte. Previously, Scott was a member of Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Future Need/Funding Sources Budget Committee.
